MEET PASTOR LINDA MUHLY


The Reverend Linda Muhly has been serving St. Mark’s since January of 2009. Receiving her Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School, Rev. Muhly also received her undergraduate studies in religion and biology from Wittenberg University. She was ordained in 1992 and served a rural congregation in Doddridge County for over 16 years. Pastor Muhly currently serves in the West Virginia- Western Maryland Synod as a teacher for Camp Luther.  She works with the women at the Phoenix recovery House and with the Board of Open Heart Ministry and the Harrison Ministerial She has been a mentor for first call pastors and was a Chaplain for the local Civil Air Patrol Squadron for three years.  She also has a long history of working with community agencies including the Doddridge food pantry and     4-H.

In her spare time, Rev. Muhly enjoys visiting the cabin she and her husband have built over the course of their marriage and going on hikes. She is also an avid bird watcher and lover of nature.

Rev. Muhly is married to Matthew Alexander and they have 3 children, Dillon, Kali, and Laurel, two cats and a dog. Pastor Muhly is available for conversation or a home visit by calling the church office at (304)-624-6138

We are handicap accessible with handicapped parking spaces on the side entrance of the building as well as a chair lift to access the downstairs.  We also have hearing assisted devices available.
