WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO

Here at St. Mark’s we are an inclusive community and our foundation is our worship life together which takes us out into the world in love to our neighbor.  We have a Monday morning group that sometimes reads books together, sometimes a bible study and sometimes studies a topic.  There are monthly women’s meetings on a variety of subjects including highlighting the vocations of women in our church family, doing art together, and sharing how our daily life is an expression of faith.

We are active in the life of the WV-WMD Synod of the ELCA.  You can visit their website at Wv-wmd.org

Our building is home for  AA meetings, held on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday beginning at 7:30pm.  The Red Cross blood drives occur quarterly,  Girl Scout Troop 4129 meets every Monday from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and a fossil group meets here monthly.  Call the church at 304.624.6138 for additional information.

How can you become involved?  Join us for worship, come to a fellowship event, attend Sunday School. St. Mark’s is an active congregation with folks of all ages, background and interest.  Children and youth area vital part of our shared ministry and opportunities abound if you want to serve others in the community.

Are you seeking God’s guidance in your life or looking for a place to call “home?”  Become involved in the faith community at St. Mark’s.   4/23
